Summer FUN!

It's been a while since I've posted....soooo....our most recent funtivities include a camping trip to American Falls (twice), a trip to California, a day at Seven Peaks, and a another camping rip to Bear Lake!

AMERICAN FALLS:

Our American Falls camping trips were so fun!

The first trip we camped for 2 nights at Indian Springs, went tubing, skiing, wakeboarding, swimming, and ate...a lot

The second trip to American falls was just a day trip. Again, tubing, skiing (it was my first time getting up on one water ski!), wakeboarding, swimming, and hanging out on the shore with baby braylie at nine days old!

CALIFORNIA:

July 21st (our 2yr anniversary) we left windy Rexburg and drove to sunny California with Stephen and Rosie. Rosie's grandparents let us stay in their empty house in southern cali (THANKS WHITEHEADS...you are so sweet to let us use your home!) Our trip consisted of:

day one: Drove all the way to Southern Cali while watching episodes of The Office

day two: Rode on roller coasters ALL DAY LONG at Six Flags. I was so scared at first, but by the end of the day I was able to take my hands off the handles (with a little help from hank, stephen and rosie!) AND we ate at In and Out Burger!

day three: We went to a beach called Laguna 1000 step beach. It was absolutely gorgeous! We did the following...

-Had a picnic on the beach

-Rescued our football while Hank cut open his feet on sharp rocks

-Tried to skimboard and ate it hard (not the girls...we didn't try it...just the boys!)

-Watched a helicopter rescue some drunk people trying to get over the wake on a water bed

-Climbed some really dangerous rocks right as the tide was coming in (not very smart!)

-Walked along the coast and dreamed about having a 5 story mansion on the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean

-Attempted to record a sunset (there were too many clouds)

-Created our own "Laguna Beach Drama Theatre!" (posted below!!!)

-Ate at In and Out Burger...Again

day four: THIS day we...

-Toured hollywood and walked with the "stars"

-Drove as close as we could to the Hollywood sign

-Ate at PINKS (SOOOO GOOD! we waited for over an hour in line, so it's a good thing it was so stinkin' good!)

-Drove down Rodeo Drive

-Drove past the Las Angelos Temple

-Went to Santa Monica Beach

-Ate some YUMMY sushi!

day five: On the last day we...

-Went to Huntington beach on the day of the US open for surfing

-Watched some sick surfing

-Watched the Nike 6.0 pro comp for BMX biking and Skateboarding...those guys can do amazing things!

-Ate at In and Out...YES...Again!

day six: Drove all the way back to Salt Lake while watching more Office episodes!

SEVEN PEAKS:

After we drove back from California, we stayed in Rexburg for 3.5 days and then drove back to SLC to go to my friends wedding...and then over to Stephen and Rosies...of course!

Friday:

-We went long boarding up at the U

-Had a bbq that night

-Went Swimming in the pool

-Watched a movie (everyone fell asleep except for me).

Saturday:

Spent the whole day at Seven Peaks

-I almost barfed on the boomerang

-Got violated on Shotgun Falls

-Had our tube tipped over by some 12 year old kid in the wave pool

-Went under water without plugging my nose in the lazy river.

Soooo...I'd call the day a success!

Sunday:

Made it home so we could go to the baby blessing of Braylie (Payden and Laura's baby girl!)

BEAR LAKE:

This was my first time at Bear Lake! The water was so warm and beautiful. It was really windy and kinda cold most of the 4 days that we were there, but we ate great food, enjoyed entertaining company, and played in the water at least a little bit! I had my first ride on "Frank" (a looong tube that sits 5 people) and my first ride on a jet ski! It was so fun to have so many people be able to come! (we missed you Kristen!)
