Hank and Stacy Toone

The next week we went to St. John the Divine. This cathedral is located in the heart of Manhattan and brags to be the largest Cathedral in the World! (that's me standing on the front steps) A fire burnt part of the cathedral down about 8 or 9 years ago, and they're still working on renovating it.
There are a a lot of really cool details that go this building. This picture shows a plaster of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse described in the book of Revelations. They are below the feet of one of the apostles that guards one of the entrances to the cathedral (there are crazy details like this throughout the the outside and inside of the cathedral).






Stacy and I were able to go inside, but most of the cathedral was closed off for renovations. I was disappointed because the inside is even more striking than the outside!
